Praying the Scriptures

Tuesday Morning Prayer

August 20, 2024

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:1)

Heavenly Father,

As we greet the dawn of this new day, we are grateful for the promise of Your Word: that in Christ Jesus, there is now no condemnation. Lord, let this assurance settle deep within our hearts, illuminating our paths and freeing our spirits.

We ask You, gracious God, to help us live today in the fullness of this freedom. May we not be entangled again with the yoke of past errors or the shadow of guilt. Teach us to embrace the liberty You have gifted us through Your Son, enabling us to serve You with an unburdened heart.

Lord, guide our thoughts, our actions, and our words so that they may reflect Your love and grace. Help us to extend the same forgiveness to others that You have lavishly extended to us, that in all things, Your name might be glorified.

As we proceed through this day, keep us mindful of Your presence and Your power working in us. May we be agents of Your peace, carriers of joy, and exemplars of faith, walking confidently under the banner of Your love, secured and redeemed by Christ our Savior.

In Jesus’ name, we pray,

Amen.

May this prayer bring you peace and guidance as you start your day.
