Monday Morning Prayer
January 27, 2025
And this is my prayer, that your love may overflow more and more with knowledge and full insight to help you to determine what is best, so that in the day of Christ you may be pure and blameless, having produced the harvest of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ for the glory and praise of God. (Philippians 1:9–11)
Heavenly Father,
As the first light of dawn brushes against the rugged beauty of the desert, I come before You in awe of Your creation. The chill of the January morning reminds me of the warmth of Your love, which sustains me through every season.
I pray, Lord, that my love may overflow more and more with knowledge and full insight, so that I may discern what is best in every moment of this day. Help me to see others with Your eyes of grace and to respond to their needs with compassion, kindness, and humility.
Guide me to live in a way that is pure and blameless, reflecting the light of Christ in all I do. May my words be seasoned with wisdom and my actions bring glory and praise to You. Let the fruits of righteousness, which come through Jesus Christ, grow abundantly in my life, nurturing not only my soul but also those around me.
As the sun rises over the Florida Mountains, I am reminded of Your faithfulness. Let my heart be ever grateful, my spirit steadfast, and my trust in You unshaken. Lead me through this day with clarity of purpose and a deepening awareness of Your presence.
I offer You all my thoughts, words, and deeds, that they may be pleasing in Your sight. May Your name be glorified in this corner of Your vast creation, now and always.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray.
Amen.
