April 13, 2025
Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Let your good spirit lead me on a level path. (Psalm 143:10)
Gracious God,
As the morning light spills over the desert floor, painting the Florida Mountains in hues of rose and gold, I lift my eyes to You—the Creator of this breathtaking canvas. The breeze carries the scent of blooming mesquite and creosote, and I hear the call of the mourning dove echoing through the stillness.
Teach me to do Your will today, O Lord, for You are my God—steadfast and true. Let Your good Spirit lead me, not just along the dusty trails I walk, but within the quiet turns of my heart.
Out here, where the ocotillo stretches skyward and the sand warms underfoot, I’m reminded how You make even the driest land bloom. Do the same in me, Lord. Lead me on a level path—where I do not stumble in fear or pride, but walk humbly in step with You.
Thank You for the gift of another sunrise—another chance to serve, to love, and to be shaped by Your hands. Fill this day with purpose. Let my words be gentle, my heart be open, and my actions a reflection of Your mercy.
Amen.
May the Spirit of God guide your steps today with peace, purpose, and the quiet strength of His abiding love.
