Church Rummage and Bake Sale – May 9 & 10
Join us for our Church Rummage and Bake Sale on Friday, May 9, and Saturday, May 10, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day. We welcome donations of gently used items to support the event, with all proceeds going toward this year's Paint and Repair Project for the church building.

We also encourage everyone to contribute baked goods, especially as it’s Mother’s Day weekend—Joyce suggested packaging items nicely, as many may be purchased as gifts.

Volunteers are needed to help with set-up, pricing, organizing, and providing food for those working long shifts.
Every bit of help makes a difference!

If you have questions or need assistance with donations, please contact Ginny at 906-367-4251.

Would you like a version of this formatted for a church bulletin or social media post as well?

Next Bishop’s Committee Meeting, 2 PM, Wednesday, May 14th

We are launching our Capital Campaign fundraiser this week to support the much-needed exterior painting and repair of our church building. Your generous contribution will help preserve and care for our place of worship—please consider giving to this important effort.

Upcoming Bishop’s Committee Meeting – May 14 at 2:00 PM
The next Bishop’s Committee meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 14 at 2:00 PM at the church.

We’re pleased to announce new leadership within the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church Bishop’s Committee:

  • Senior Warden: Kenny Sallee

  • Junior Warden: Ron Mellow

  • New Committee Member: Quincy Reed, who will be focusing on gathering and compiling the church’s history in collaboration with Barb Dery.

Thank you to all who serve in leadership and ministry.

Emergency Contact Information

Our congregation is made up of people who have moved to Deming from other states. For some of us, this means that IF there is a medical emergency or other emergency (perhaps a fire or flood), would St Luke’s know who to contact out-of-state, i.e., son, daughter, etc.? If you are comfortable sharing this information with St Luke’s, please call Barbara. Your family information will be kept confidential and only used in an emergency.

**Potluck Sunday, May 4th**

Gathering to share food and stories is a joy; we look forward to enjoying these moments together!

Coffee and sweets are served all other Sundays after service, all in the fellowship hall.

Is your life affected by someone’s drinking? Your child, a parent, your spouse, or a friend.

Seeking Serenity AFG meetings are each Monday from 11:30 am-12:30 pm in

St Luke’s Episcopal Church parish hall, with an entrance on Spruce St., is located at 417 W. Spruce St, Deming.
