The Church Rummage Sale is scheduled for May 9th and 10th, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day.
Donations are already coming in, and we’re inviting you to contribute more! You can bring items on Sunday mornings or contact Ginny at 906-367-4251 to arrange a different drop-off time or request assistance.
A volunteer sign-up sheet will be posted on the church bulletin board. We need helping hands to set up tables and clothing racks, organize and price items beginning Monday, May 5th, at 1:30 PM. Help is also needed throughout the week and during the sale—whether it’s handling cash, organizing tables, packing up, or bringing food for the volunteers.
All proceeds from this year’s sale will go toward the church painting project. Thank you for your support!

Art Dery has stepped down as Senior Warden due to health reasons. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Art for his many faithful years of dedicated service. Please join us in welcoming Kenny Sallee as our new Senior Warden and Ron Mello as Junior Warden.
This month has been a joyful and spiritually uplifting time at St. Luke’s, as we welcomed two new members into the Body of Christ through the sacrament of Holy Baptism. With hearts full of celebration, we witnessed the baptisms of Tabitha Fisher and Baylee Fisher, each publicly affirming their faith and stepping into the grace and love of God’s covenant community. The service was rich with meaning, reminding us all of our own baptismal vows and the call to live into our identity as beloved children of God.
As a congregation, we rejoice with Tabitha and Baylee and commit to walking alongside them in their spiritual journeys. Their baptisms not only mark a personal milestone but also serve as a reminder of the vibrant life and growth within our church family. May the light of Christ shine brightly in their lives, and may we, as their faith community, continue to support, encourage, and pray for them as they grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Emergency Contact Information
Our congregation is made up of people who have moved to Deming from other states. For some of us, this means that IF there is a medical emergency or other emergency (perhaps a fire or flood), would St Luke’s know who to contact out-of-state, i.e., son, daughter, etc.? If you are comfortable sharing this information with St Luke’s, please call Barbara. Your family information will be kept confidential and only used in an emergency.
**Potluck and video presentation with an “Important Message” by Kenny, Sunday, April 6th**
Gathering to share food and stories is a joy; we look forward to enjoying these moments together!
Coffee and sweets are served all other Sundays after service, all in the fellowship hall.
Is your life affected by someone’s drinking? Your child, a parent, your spouse, or a friend.
