Embracing Selflessness
[Love] does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful. (1 Corinthians 13:5a)

Reflection
Imagine a garden where different plants thrive together, sharing soil, sunlight, and water. Each plant, while distinct in its needs and appearance, contributes to the beauty of the garden. Similarly, love calls us to coexist harmoniously, not insisting on our own preferences or yielding to irritability when things don't go our way.
Consider the story of Sarah and Tom, a married couple volunteering at a community food bank. One day, a disagreement arose over how to organize the pantry. Sarah believed her method was more efficient, while Tom had his own ideas. Their insistence on their own ways led to tension. It wasn't until they decided to combine their ideas that they found a more effective solution, and peace was restored.
